Ox Hill, an innovative commercial real estate developer in Northern Virginia, partnered with BCENE PR as its agency of record to position the brand as a leading local real estate developer that specializes in destination-building and raise awareness about its new mixed-use developments coming to Fairfax, Virginia — The Ox and City Centre West. City Centre West, a seven-story, 210,029-square-foot mixed-use development, and The Ox, a proposed multi-acre arts, entertainment and hospitality complex, are the largest, most innovative projects to be introduced to Fairfax in the city’s recent history.
BCENE began by developing a comprehensive public relations plan that outlined communication strategies for securing feature stories with top local, regional and trade media. We developed and distributed news announcements to keep both projects top of mind as they transitioned through the city’s pre-application, submission and approval phases. We also leveraged Ox Hill’s principals for media interviews to discuss the economic development impact of both developments and the company’s long-term vision for the City of Fairfax.
In addition to landing media coverage, our team crafted messaging points promoting the transformative aspects of each project — including elevating the city’s architectural look and creating a downtown destination — while reiterating Ox Hill’s positive impact on the community.
